MISSION — Reyna Cortez, 71, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Cortez-Luengo; sisters, Imelda, Julia, Maria, and Christina; and two grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held Jan. 9 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment followed at Garden of Angels Cemetery.
