MISSION — Russell Arthur Eslinger, 61, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 after an extended illness.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Guerra Eslinger; children, Russell Jr. of Spokane, WA, and Steven and Brenda Palacios from Mission; Art and Clarise Eslinger; sister, Delarie Saylor; brothers, Clair and Calvin from Garrison, ND, Gaylen from Moss Beach, CA, Wayne from New Caney, and Arlo from Kent, WA; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Brian.
The funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20. Interment follows at the Rio Grande State Veterans' Cemetery, 2520 S. Inspiration Road in Mission.
Steven, Gaylen, Arlo and Calvin Eslinger, and Nacho and Beto Guerra will serve as pallbearers. Wayne Eslinger and Felix Guerra, and Bill Tadlock, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
