MISSION — Tomas Torres, 86, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 22, 1925 in La Grulla.
Survivors include is his wife, Adelina G. Torres; children, Tomas Torres Jr., Josue Torres, and Maria Magdalena Torres; siblings, Juanita Cortez, Josefa Torres, Sixto Torres, Hermenejilda Torres, Anastacio Torres Jr. and Jose Torres and a grandson.
Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Juliana Torres; brother, Jesus Torres and sisters, Maria Gonzalez and Policarpia Rodriguez.
A service will be held Friday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. at Flores Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mission. Interment follows at La Grulla City Cemetery.
