CHANNELVIEW/ABRAM — Eloisa Ochoa Flores, 78, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at M.D. Anderson in Houston.
Mrs. Flores was born Jan. 20, 1934 in Mission to Juan Francisco Ochoa and Julia A. Ochoa. She married Jose Humberto Flores on Sept. 4, 1965.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Humberto Flores of Channelview; daughter, Noemi Flores Oevermann of Burton; sons, Omar Flores and Dagoberto Flores of Channelview; sisters, Antonia Cantu and Paula Ochoa of Abram, and Anita Kosienski of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Flores was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Francisco and Julia A. Ochoa; son, Oscar Flores; brothers, Ignacio, Eulalio, Rodolfo, and Francisco Ochoa and sister, Enriqueta Ochoa Reyes.
The funeral Mass was held Jan. 28 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram. Burial followed at San Jose Cemetery in Abram.
Grandchildren and nephews served as pallbearers and great-grandchildren as honorary pallbearers.
