PALMVIEW – Delia Z. Garcia, 66, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at her residence in Palmview. Mrs. Garcia was born in Peñitas on January 28, 1944 to Diego and Beatriz Zamora
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Natividad Garcia; son, Natividad (Melissa) Garcia Jr.; daughters, Naomi (Gerardo) Garza, Nilda (Eladio) Vasquez, Noreen (Rafael) Villarreal, Noelia (Jose Luis) Chapa, and Nadine (Jose) Garcia; and17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her granddaughter, Ruby Lee Puente.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, from 1 to p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at L&I Memorial Chapel in Peñitas. Chapel service will be held Wednesday, January 19, at 1 p.m. at L&I Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.
