LOS EBANOS - Manuel Farias, 104, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at his residence in Los Ebanos. He was born on October 1, 1907 in Cuevitas.
He is survived by his children, Baldemar Farias, Maria Estela Gutierrez, Eliazar Farias, Elia Ochoa, and Edelmira Cedillo; and 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Farias was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Guadalupe Farias; wife, Amelia Farias; and daughter, Maria Elena Flores.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Los Ebanos. Interment follows at Los Ebanos Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carlos Farias, Daniel Farias, Rolando Cedillo, Jose Manuel Farias, Hector Gutierrez, Rafael Ochoa Jr., Eric Cedillo, and Rene Cedillo Jr.
