OBIT: Elida G. Ontiveros

MISSION – Elida G. Ontiveros, 58, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012. Mrs. Ontiveros was born in Arguelles, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 8, 1953.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Ontiveros Sr.; children, Felix Ontiveros Jr. and Eli Ontiveros both of Mission; sisters, Rosie Prieto of Palmview, Maggie Cavazos of Houston, Lydia Rios of Mississippi and Isabel Cristina Cantu of Bryan; brothers, Hector, Jaime, David , Robert, and Pete, all of Mission; a granddaughter and two step-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two nephews, and some aunts and uncles as well.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 15, at 10 a.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
