LOS EBANOS - Lydia F. Muñoz, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She was born to Mauricio Flores and Leonor Flores on August 4, 1934 in Los Ebanos.
Mrs. Munoz is survived by her husband, Elizandro Muñoz, Sr.; children, Noelia Gutierrez, Noemi Muñoz, Noe Ruben Muñoz, Elizandro Muñoz Jr. and Ema Duran; siblings, Idolinda Gutierrez and Arnoldo Flores; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. A funeral mass will be conducted Friday, March 30, at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Los Ebanos City Cemetery.
