ALTON- Margarito Rios, 66, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at his residence in Alton. He was born to Mr. Maximino Rios and Mrs. Refugio Hernandez in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on Nov. 6, 1944.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Rodriguez; children, Margarito Rios, Jose M. Rios, Rigoberto Rios, Rodolfo Rios, Raul Rios, Gladilena Rangel, and Ricardo Rios; sister, San Juanita Treviño; and 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass was held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Interment followed at Lord & I Cemetery in Palmview. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission and L & I Funeral Homes of Peñitas.
