LA JOYA – Paula Treviño, 96, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Treviño was born in La Laja, N.L. Mexico on July 1, 1914 to Juan and Juanita Treviño.
She is survived by her sons and daughters, Maria de la Luz Peña, Elvira Peña, Heriberto Peña, Jose Peña, Noe Peña, Benjamin Peña, Celestina Peña, and Genoveva Peña.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Ernestina Peña.
Burial took place Feb. 1 at Centenario Tres Palmas in Dr. Coss, N.L., Mexico. Funeral arrangements were under the care of L&I Funeral Home of Peñitas.
