MISSION - Benita M. Guerrero, 86, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born in McAllen on March 3, 1926 to Julian and Reyes Mireles.
She is survived by her children, Eulalio Guerrero Jr., Guadalupe Anzaldua, Dora Partridge, Ramona Cerda, Benito Guerrero, Martina Guerrero; 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Guerrero was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eulalio Guerrero Sr.; daughters, Clarita Ordaz and Maria Delgado; and son, Eliodoro Guerrero.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 6, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral service will be conducted at the same location on Saturday, April 7. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
