MISSION - Trinidad Balderas, 90, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, at Lifecare Hospital in McAllen. He was born on December 9, 1921, in Mission.
Mr. Balderas is survived by his wife, Maria Guerra Balderas; sister, Blasita Enriques; daughters, Elida Sendejo, Yolanda Moreno and Diana Villanueva; sons, Trinidad Balderas Jr., Pedro Balderas, Rafael Balderas, and Manuel Balderas; and 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentin Balderas and Urbana Vega, and daughters, Maria Alicia Sanchez, Gloria Rivera and Gloria Balderas.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
