SULLIVAN CITY - Noe Humberto Flores, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Mission Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Flores was born on November 10, 1929, in Los Ebanos. He was a staff sergeant E-6 for four years for the U.S. Air Force and was a retired government employee from the Moorefield Air Base north of Mission.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Orfelina Flores; children, Noe H. Flores, Jr., Javier Flores, Jaime Flores, Sandra Flores, and Joel Flores; siblings, AlejandraPerez, AuroraSalinas, Austruberto Flores Jr., Eutiquio Flores, Efrain Flores, Eloy Flores, Rolando Flores, Zenon Flores, Esperanza Ochoa, and Marta Perez; and 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Austruberto Flores and Esperanza Benavides; sister, Josefina Guerra; and brother, Francisco Flores.
The funeral mass will be held Monday, April 16, at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at R.G.V. State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
