MISSION - Maria de Lourdes Garcia, 88, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence in Mission. She was born in Los Rayones, N.L., Mexico on April 7, 1924.
She is survived by her son, Francisco J. Valenzuela, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas Briones and Herminia Salazar, and her husband, Jose Garcia.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 18, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
