Hermilio Bazan

MISSION - Hermilio Bazan, Sr., 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born to Enrique Bazan Sr. and Francisca A. Ozuna on Nov. 10, 1933 in La Casita.

obit_Hermillo-BazanSurvivors include his sons, Hermilio Bazan Jr. and David Bazan; a daughter, Frances Bazan Rivera; brothers, Santos Bazan and Leonel Bazan; a sister, Josefa Lopez; and nine grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Elvia M. Bazan; his parents; a brother, Enrique Bazan Jr.; and a sister, Maria de la Luz Peña.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Los Ebanos City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission.

Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Bazan, David Carlos Lopez, Noel Lopez, Jose Ramon Muñoz, Silvan Bazan and Jorge Peña.
