MISSION - Juan A. Alanis, 82, of Mission, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Las Palmas Nursing Center in McAllen.
Mr. Alanis is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Alanis; children, Juan Jose Alanis, Johnny Alanis, Diana Ramirez, Mary Ann Trevino, Virginia Cardenas, Sandra Lozada, David Alanis, Fernando Alanis, Ricardo Alanis; and 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
