ALTON - Juanita Salas, 58, of Alton, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 in Houston. She was the daughter of Jesus and Senorina Salas.
She was retired from Mission CISD and was currently working at Agape Christian Academy.
She is survived by her children, Monica Yvette Lara and Jose Lara; a grandson; and eight siblings.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary. The funeral mass will be held Friday, June 1, at 10 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Interment follows at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
