MISSION - Rosalio "Chale" Hernandez Jr., 80, passed away on June 4, 2012, at McAllen Medical Center.
He was a lifetime member of the Catholic War Veterans and was active in the Honor Guard.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Otila Garza, and a sister, Manuela Hernandez.
A funeral mass will held Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
