PEÑITAS – Carlota "Cota" Garza, 63, passed away July 6, 2012, at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jose Luis Garza Sr.; daughters, Karla Marie and Monica Elisa Garza of Peñitas; son, Jose Luis (Kathi) Garza Jr. of Austin; sister, Guillermina Rocabado of Friendswood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Carolina Hernandez.
The family would like to thank Dr. Javier A. Saenz and staff for their continued care and support, Dr. Eugenio Galindo and staff, Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance Cancer Center staff, and the entire staff at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Comfort House in McAllen, and/or Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance Cancer Center in Edinburg.
