MISSION/EDINBURG - Dina Marie Chavez, 42, from Mission passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 after a prolonged illness.
Ms. Chavez was born July 7, 1970 in Edinburg. A graduate of Mission High School and from The University of Texas-Pan American, she received her bachelor's degree in nursing.
Survivors include her mother, Bea; sisters, Becky and Monica; brother, Vince; parents; grandmother, Maria; and half brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. at Palm Valley Church in Mission.
