MISSION - Modesto Gonzalez Jr., 59, passed away Friday Sept. 21, 2012, at his residence in Mission.
A lifelong Mission resident, he was born on April 15, 1953 to Modesto Sr. and Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Dolores Gonzalez; sons, Modesto Gonzalez III and Marco Gonzalez; daughters, Jessica Falcon, Amanda Romero and Brenda Gonzalez; his father; and nine grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his son, Juan Modesto Gonzalez, and his mother, Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McAllen. The burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
