MISSION - Andres Gonzalez, 81, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at Comfort House in McAllen. He was born to Andres Gonzalez and Guadalupe Morales on Dec. 26, 1930 in Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Survivors include his wife, Socorro Gonzalez; children, Alma Ramon, Andres Gonzalez Jr., Marisa Botello, Aimee Ashby and Miguel Angel Gonzalez; brother, Mario Gonzalez; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation took place at Garden of Angels Crematory in Abram. Viewing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 12 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission.
