ALTON - Antonio Borrego Jr., 72, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at Mission Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Amelia Villarreal Borrego; daughter, Nelda Leticia Perez; sons, Reymundo Borrego, Raynaldo Borrego and Ramiro Borrego; sisters, Estela Garza, Eva Garcia, Carmen Morin, San Juana Segundo and Anna Segundo; brother, Arturo Borrego; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Antonio and Victoria Martinez Borrego Sr.; son, Jose Antonio Borrego; sister, Lydia B. Limon; and brother, Efrain Borrego.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
