LA JOYA - Angelina “Eva” Jackson, 80, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Mission Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jackson was born February 1, 1932 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Jesus and Juana Medina.
She is survived by her husband, Erasmo Jackson; daughter, Marta Eva Jackson; and sister, Guadalupe Medina.
The viewing will be held Monday, Oct. 15, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at The Lord and I Funeral Home Chapel in Penitas. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in La Joya. Interment will follow at La Joya City Cemetery.
