MISSION - Vicente Silva Jr. 77, passed away on March 18, 2011 at his home. He was born on October 30, 1933 in Mission.
Survivors include his children, Lety Canales of Waller, Eddie and David Silva of Corpus Christi, and Johnny Silva of Joliet, Illinois; a sister, Irene Dillard of Chicago IL; seven grandchildren: Leo Garza, Arielle Rodriguez, Eduardo J. Silva, Eric Silva, Casi Casanova, Erika Silva and Clarissa Casanova, and three great-grandchildren: Briseis Rodriguez, Melodie Rodriguez, and Kaleb Garza.
The funeral mass will be held March 22 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Mission at 10 a.m. Burial follows at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
