MISSION - Amadeo Acosta Sr., 93, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at LifeCare Hospital in McAllen.
He is survived by his sons, Amadeo Acosta Jr. and Rodolfo Acosta; brothers, Angelberto Acosta, Leo Acosta Jr. and Adelmiro Acosta; sisters, Leonor Guzman, Consuelo Munoz and Lydia Quintanilla; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Reyna Acosta, and five siblings.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
