MISSION- Evelyn Grace Hoffman, 95, joined our Lord on Monday, March 21, 2011. She was born in Sasakwa, Oklahoma in 1915 to Hugh and Rosetta Harris. She moved to the Valley in 1928 and lived in the Mission area most of her life.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Faye Badeaux, Mary Kathleen Hoggatt, Elizabeth Rose Shuttlesworth, Effie Susan Barlow; daughters-in-law, Carrol J. Hoffman and Mary Hoffman; and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry Joseph Hoffman, and her two sons, Jerry James Hoffman and Harry Robert Hoffman.
The funeral mass was held March 24 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission. Interment followed at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission. Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission handled the arrangements.
