MISSION - Maria Del Refugio Sauceda, 86, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22. She was born Dec. 16, 1925.
She is survived by her children, Norma Irene Van Bogart, Miguel Suceda Jr., Noe Sauceda, Gerardo Sauceda , Rosalva Reyna, Diana Sauceda, Homero Sauceda and Sylvia Moreno; a brother, Artino Garza; sisters, Amada Sauceda, Lorenza Cruz and Paula Garza; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Sauceda Sr.
The funeral mass was held Nov. 26 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
