MISSION - Senobia "Vita" Guzman, 83, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at her residence in Mission.
Mrs. Guzman was born to Lazaro and Porfiria Rodriguez in General Bravo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on Dec. 31, 1928. She was the owner of El Sol Nursery in Mission.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana Saldaña and Dora Banda, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 3 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
