MISSION - Leandro Perez Sr. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Madero.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Exiquio Perez, and his wife, Lydia S. Perez, and three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his children, Leandro Jr. of Pharr, Luis Perez of Mission, Laura Perez of South Carolina and Leonel Perez of Mission; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be held Friday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
