MISSION - Erasmo O. Elizondo, 75, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mr. Elizondo is survived by sons, Erasmo Jr., Enrique, Ismael, Ernesto (Veronica), and Emiliano Elizondo; daughters, Elda (Domingo) Hinojosa, Esther (Rogelio) Alvarez, and Edna (Oscar) Farias; brothers, Edwardo and Eloy Elizondo; sisters, Eva Leal, Esperanza Braunfield, Esmeralda Elizondo, and Linda Segundo; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Elizondo; daughters, Emma C. Elizondo and Esmeralda Elizondo; son, Eloy Elizondo; and parents, Ismael and Margarita Elizondo.
A funeral service was held March 28 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment followed at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
