MISSION - Francisco Laredo Jr., 80, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Laredo was born on May 27, 1932 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mex. to Francisco Laredo and Maria De La Luz Valenzuela.
Survivors include his children, Francisco Felix Laredo, Rebeca Laura Rodriguez, Emilio Laredo, Virginia Alma Hernandez, Irma Lilia Cavazos, Diana Elizabeth Garza, Maria Delfina Laredo, Maria De La Luz Paz, Panfilo Laredo, Maria Del Carmen Treviño Jr., Fernando Laredo, and Edward Laredo; brothers, Fernando Laredo, Eduardo Laredo, Bernardo Laredo and Julio Laredo; sister, Cecilia Laredo; and 44 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rebeca O. Laredo; and sister, Aurora Laredo.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. at Iglesia Nueva Vida in Alton. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abram.
