PALMVIEW - Evangelina Franco, 78, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Comfort House in McAllen. She was born to Miguel Rodriguez and Dominga Mata on April 15, 1934 in Donna.
Mrs. Franco is survived by her sons, Jose Franco, Rodolfo Franco and Jesus Franco; daughter, Leonor Juarez; siblings, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Sara Alvarez, Carmen Garcia and Lydia Hernandez; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Franco.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Abram.
