Mildred Warbritton Cox, 94, residing in a nursing home in Texarkana, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013. She was born on Oct. 19, 1918 in Sherman and raised in Carrollton, Mo.
Mrs. Cox lived in Mission from 1949 through 1972. She was a long-time home economics teacher for Mission High School.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Warbritton and Deborah Warbritton Nuckolls; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Nathan Hess, Jr.
A memorial service was held at Jan. 30 at East Memorial Chapel in Texarkana.
The family suggested memorials be made to Hospice of Texarkana.
