OBIT-Manuel M. Alcantar

MISSION - Manuel M. Alcantar, 82, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Alcantar was born on April 13,1930 to Manuel and Valeriana Alcantar and worked for the Golden Jersey Creamory for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Martha G. Alcantar of Mission; sons, Marcos Alcantar Jr. and Manuel Alcantar; and three sisters and one brother.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb, 7, at Skinner Silva Funeral Home Chapel in Pharr with Rev. David Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.

Pallbearers will be Manuel Alcantar, Marcos Alcantar, Max Herrera, Jason Herrera, David Lee Garza and Carlos Garza.
