MISSION – Berta Montes 47, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.
Mrs. Montes was born to Jose Ove Montes and Refugia Barrera of Mission.She was a member Monte De Sion Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Marie Montes and Cuca Montes from Mission; her parents; siblings, Maria Montes, Nora Morales, Jose Ove Montes Jr., Juan Montes and Andres Montes; and four grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, at Monte De Sion Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Mission.
Serving as pallbearers will be Andres Montes, Juan Montes, Jose Ove Montes Jr., Lazaro Diaz, Isidro Montes, Juan Montes Jr., Hipolito Perez and Ruben Reyna.
