SULLIVAN CITY - Jose Maria Campos, 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born to Lazaro Campos and Francisca Villanueva on Nov. 25, 1935 in La Grulla.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Campos; son, Jose Maria Campos Jr.; daughter, Sylvia Espinoza; brothers, Oscar, Ricardo and Guadalupe Campos; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City. Interment will follow at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla.
