PALMHURST- Aminta Salinas, 99, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at her residence in Palmhurst. She was born to Porfirio and Carlota Garza on May 8, 1913 in Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
She is survived by her children, Salvador Salinas, Carlota Garcia, Evelia Salinas, Sergio Salinas and Saul Salinas; and 24 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at 12 p.m. at Virgil Wilson in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
Serving as pallbearers will be Juan Salinas, Tomas Salazar Jr., Roberto Salazar, Jose A. Salinas, Sergio Salinas Jr. and George Salinas.
