MISSION/EDINBURG - Elpidio "Pilo" Cano, 59, died Wednesday, March 19, 2013, at McAllen Medical Center.
Survivors include his siblings, Elida Alvarado of San Antonio, Emma Salinas of Red Rock, Erasmo Cano of Mission, Esperanza Rodriguez of Houston, Herminia Guzman of Edinburg and Enrique Cano of Mission.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Eustaquia Cano; brothers, Emilio Cano Jr., Ernesto Cano and Elmo Cano.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, on Thursday, March 21, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
