MISSION - Anita Alvarez, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mission.
She is survived by her siblings, Josefina Alvarez, Jose Alvarez, Cruz Alvarez and Luis Alvarez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Beatriz Alvarez, and a brother, Alfredo Alvarez.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
