MISSION - Olga Contreras, 68, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Comfort House in McAllen.
She is survived by her husband Alberto Contreras from Houston; children, Jose Jesus Vega Jr. of Maryland, David Vega of La Joya, Robert Vega of San Juan and Noe Contreras of Houston; siblings, Magdalena Sanchez of Mission, Adrian Bocanegra of San Antonio, Yolanda Kosh of Calif., Oscar Bocanegra of Mission, Ramiro Bocanegra of Houston, Thelma Muñoz of Corpus Christi and Linda Bocanegra of La Joya; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion and Consuelo Bocanegra; sister, Ofelia Lohr; and brothers, Concepcion Bocanegra Jr. and Hector Bocanegra.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission from 1 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at El Mesias United Methodist Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
