MISSION - Flavio Balderas, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at his residence in Mission.
Mr. Balderas was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on June 20, 1934.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Balderas; sons, Flavio Fernando Balderas, Gustavo Balderas, Omar Balderas and Oscar Balderas; daughters, Maria Concepcion Cortes, San Juanita Cantu, Esmeralda Balderas, Maria Guadalupe Balderas and Jacqueline Escalera; brother, Cirilo Balderas; sister, Manuela Balderas; and 30 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, from 1to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery in Mission.
