MISSION - Guadalupe O. Ramos, 67, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 14, 1945 in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico.
Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe A. Ramos; children, Jose G. Ramos Jr., Josue Pascual Ramos, Rosa Irene Ramos, Maribel R. Gomez; brother, Ramon Ramos of McAllen; sisters, Magdalena Sanchez of McAllen and Manuela Urbina of Rockport; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentin Ramos and Estefana Ortega; brother, Benito Ramos; and a grandson, Valentin Ramos.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abram.
