OBIT: Laura Isabel Garza

MISSION - Laura Isabel Garza passed away in New York.  She was born to Nicolas Garza and Mrs. Elizabeth Esquivel on August 9, 1983 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and resided in the Rio Grande Valley since 1996. She graduated in 2003 from Mission High School and worked mostly in retail.

Her memory will forever live in the hearts of her loving mother, Elizabeth Esquivel; and her brothers, Ivan Eloy (Laura) Garza and Nicolas Garza. She will be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is now reunited with her father, Nicolas Garza who precedes her in death.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 5 to 10 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at L & I Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 1005 W. Expressway 83 in Peñitas. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10 a.m. at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in San Juan.
