PENITAS - Celia Sauceda, 82, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Life Care South in McAllen. She was born on April 14, 1931 in Las Islas Ranch.
Survivors include her sons, Arturo Sauceda, Ricardo Sauceda and Jose Sauceda; daughters, Ninfa Sauceda and Diana Sauceda; sister, Hortencia Zerrato; and 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Sabas Ozuna and Fidela Ozuna; husband, Miguel Sauceda Jr.; and children, Juan Miguel Sauceda, Carlos Sauceda and Sally S. Alvarado.
The funeral mass was held May 8 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City. Interment followed at Benavides Cemetery in Sullivan City.
