PALMVIEW - Leonardo Gutierrez, 71, went on to be with the Lord on Monday April 24, 2011 at Mission Regional Hospital. Mr. Gutierrez was born to Jose Roberto Gutierrez and Carmen Flores Gutierrez on September 8, 1939 in Milpillas, Jalisco, Mexico.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Hilda; sons, Jose Leonardo Gutierrez Jr., Jose Roberto Gutierrez (Judith), Juan Carlos Gutierrez (Candelaria), and Julio Cesar Gutierrez (Marisela); daughter, Hilda Rosales (Mario); sister, Ramona Zuniga; brother, Venancio Gutierrez; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on April 26 from noon to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at L & I Memorial Chapel in Peñitas. The funeral mass will be held April 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Penitas. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
