MISSION - Janice M. Murphy, 68, left to be with the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2011 at McAllen Medical Center after battling M.S. for 33 years. She was born to J. Roy Blurton and Mabel Hinton on May 27, 1942 in Vandaya, Illinois.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edith Branson, Karl Murphy, Sharon Sibble, Karen Babineaux and Tammy Loverde; sisters, Joanne Widle and Judy Duree; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She will forever be remembered as a loving sister, mother and grandmother.
A graveside service will be held on April 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
