OBIT-Arnulfo Edelmiro Cedillo

PEÑITAS - Arnulfo "Fito" Edelmiro Cedillo, 71, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Cedillo was born on July 26, 1941 to Marcelo and Juanita Cedillo in Peñitas. He retired as a school bus driver for the La Joya School District with 19 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mage Cedillo of Palmview; sons, Arnulfo Cedillo Jr. of McAllen, David Cedillo of Mission and Ricardo Cedillo of McAllen; daughter, Linda Moreno of Austin; brothers, Marcelo Cedillo Jr. of Mission and Jose Homero Cedillo and Onesimo Cedillo of Edinburg; sisters, Socorro Venegas of Mission and Azusena Navarro of Soledo; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelo and Juanita Cedillo, and sister, Adalia Morin.

The funeral service was held on June 19 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Peñitas. Interment followed at Peñitas Cemetery.
