MISSION/PONTIAC, Ill. - Roy Lee Sexton, 67, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Comfort House in McAllen.
Mr. Sexton was an active member of the VFW in La Joya. He retired after 40 years as a truck driver based out of Pontiac, Ill. and moved to Mission.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Karen Sexton; son, Michael Sexton of Pearland; stepsons, Brian Wilson and David Wilson of Pontiac; sister, Lynda Neubauer of Pontiac; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Deloris Stroh, and his parents, Ruby and Gladys Sexton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggested that donations be made to Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave., McAllen, TX 78501.
