OBIT-Dr. Reynaldo Casares

Dr. Reynaldo Casares, 55, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at his residence in Mission.

Born in Edinburg, Dr. Casaares lived most of his life in Mission and was a graduate of Texas A&M University. He was a parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church in Mission and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Texas Dental Association and American Dental Association and a practicing dentist in the Mission and La Joya area for over 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Casares, of Mission; children, Courtney Rae Casares of San Antonio and Justin Ryan Casares of College Station; siblings, David Casares Jr., of Cypress, Angie Pena of Pearland, Frank Casares of McAllen, and Estela Casares and Jaime Casares both of Edinburg.

Preceding him in death were his parents, David and Felipa Casares, and brothers, Andres and Oscar Casares.

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
